Hi, I’m Dan.
I’ve been working in the design industry for almost 20 years. Across graphic design, creative artworking, retouching and more recently turning my hand to UI/UX design.
In 2004 I graduated in Industrial Design, but went on to work as a graphic designer, over the years I changed companies and my roles evolved into the ever more precise world of creative artworking and retouching.
That being said an artworker is much like working within UX, as you are always mindful of the balance between the end user, the original designed concepts and the limitations of production to get the best outcome.
Redirecting into UX has engaged with the elements of my degree that I enjoyed the most; human centred design and really digging into user interaction and it has been liberating to delve deeper into that world.
With nearly 20 years experience and a wealth of knowledge from design agency and in-house positions, I have developed a fantastic attention to detail and dedication to create the most effective solutions whilst keeping calm under pressure.
Always keen to learn new skills and make the most of opportunities and challenges presented to me.
